Blockbuster Agenda Revealed! PSC Pet Fair's Global Pet Breeder Forum on Nov 7th Invites You to Explore the New Future of the Breeding Industry!

The second edition of the PSC Pet Sourcing Fair China, held from November 5-7, 2025, at the Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center Expo, will host a groundbreaking industry event—the inaugural Global Pet Breeder Forum! As the first specially curated forum in the breeding sector debuted alongside the PSC Fair, this event will commence on November 7th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, in the Conference room, Hall 2. It will bring together six top experts from China, Italy, and the U.S. to address core global breeding industry topics across four key dimensions: regulations, technology, animal welfare, and trends, building a professional international exchange platform for Chinese breeders.

1. Global Perspectives: International Experts Decode Breeding Ecosystems Worldwide

This forum marks the first gathering of authoritative voices from Europe, the United States, and China, directly addressing core differences in breeding practices across various markets:

• Guido Mancinelli, Chief Operating Officer of GM sarl (Italy), will compare the industrial structure, regulatory requirements, and export pathways for dog breeding in Europe versus China, providing a compliance guide for practitioners interested in cross-border breeding cooperation.

• Mark Dunn, Former Executive Vice President of the American Kennel Club (AKC) and Board Member of the World Pet Association (WPA), will deeply analyze the current demand and supply situation for purpose-bred dogs in the U.S. along with animal welfare standards, unveiling the norms of the mature U.S. breeding industry.

• Leighann Blackmore, All-Breed Judge and Mentor for the ACFA (USA), will focus on the scientific and healthy breeding of cats, sharing internationally advanced feline breeding techniques and breed optimization experience.

2. Innovation & Transformation: Reshaping the Breeding Landscape with AI and Standards

Driven by both digitalization and standardization, the breeding industry is at a critical juncture of transformation:

• Gao Xiaoxu, Director of the Innovation Department at Star Pet Kingdom (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., will present the forward-thinking concept of "Using AI as a Bridge to Build a Transparent Supply Chain for Pet Life Quality," exploring how technology can address pain points related to information opacity in the breeding process.

3. Local Insights: Experience and Trends Rooted in the Chinese Market

Grounding the discussion in the current state of China's breeding industry, two local experts will share practical perspectives:

• He Lei, Committee Member of the National Technical Committee for Companion Animals (Pets) Standardization and Chair of the Companion Animal Standardization Committee of the Beijing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association, will share the practical path of "Leading Scientific Breeding with Standards" from the perspective of industry norms, helping the industry achieve "standardization and win-win outcomes."

• Shang Xuefeng, Executive President of the Anshan Pet Trade Association, will, under the theme "These 50 Years: The Journey We've Shared with Our Pets," review the half-century development of China's breeding industry, distilling growth experiences and future opportunities within the local market.

From international compliance to local practice, and from technological innovation to the implementation of standards, the presentations from these six experts form a complete loop of "Global Experience + Chinese Solutions," covering the core needs across the entire dog and cat breeding chain.
