Against a backdrop of global economic volatility and industry-wide challenges, the 2025 Global Pet Sourcing Conference (PSCC) opened on November 5th in Guangzhou, bringing together international stakeholders under the unifying theme of "Co-Rise." As an integral component of the Pet Sourcing Fair China（PSC）, this year's comprehensively upgraded conference focused on collective strategies to navigate current challenges and propel the pet industry forward.
Confronting significant headwinds including supply chain restructuring, rising operational costs, and market uncertainties, the conference emphasized that cooperative global engagement represents the most viable path toward sustainable industry advancement.
The conference program featured a central main forum complemented by multiple specialized tracks addressing critical industry sectors: pet food, breeding, grooming, investment, e-commerce, parrot trade, and aquatics. This diverse agenda facilitated deep knowledge exchange among more than 80 distinguished industry experts representing 17 countries worldwide.
As one of the first major professional forums during the PSCC conference, Aqua Lecture China was successfully held on the morning of November 5 in the Conference Room, Hall 3. The forum gathered seven top experts and industry leaders from Mainland China and Taiwan, China. Covering core categories such as Koi, Tropical Small Fish, Goldfish, and Crystal Shrimp, it systematically analyzed the current development status and future opportunities of China's aquatic industry from five key dimensions: Germplasm Resources, Genetic Breeding, Cultivation Technology, Market Consumption, and Industrial Upgrade. This created a high-value exchange platform for practitioners to connect with scientific research frontiers, market trends, and practical experience.
